On August 28, 2023, the City of Hopewell, Virginia selected The Robert Bobb Group (RBG) to provide Accounting Remediation Services, for fiscal years 2020 thru 2023, and establish a Project Management Office for the oversight of the City’s Fiscal Turnaround Plan. RBG was among a list of firms and consultants also competing for the solicitation.
Additional services provided by The Robert Bobb Group include an assessment and
reconfiguration of Hopewell’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, human resource
capital assessments, and detailed fiscal health support recommendations based on discoveries of risk.
RBG continues to work with the City of Hopewell to improve the City’s financial issues.
